About the Event:
The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission, the leading organization for sporting events in Maricopa County develops, coordinates and participates in countywide efforts to bid for and host major events and tournaments in the Valley of the Sun. Working together with various local governing bodies, the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission contributes a significant amount of resources to support the creation of new events, as well as providing professional procedural support for existing events. The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission’s mission is designed to promote tourism through sports, leading the sports community, acknowledging sports leaders through tribute events, and youth sports programming and development. This mission will allow us to have a lasting impact of strategic importance that delivers a range of enduring benefits to Maricopa County. To accomplish these goals we have created the Arizona Soccer Showcase to raise Arizona’s national and local soccer profile. We have been fortunate to attract championship caliber teams from as far as Hawaii to come to Scottsdale and compete against the best soccer programs from across Arizona.
